What sanding grit do you recommend I use to blend my Masked Dad Workshop Foam Clay to my Masked Dad Workshop EVA Foam?

We like to start off with a 240 grit and slowly work our way up if needed.

Can I heat up my Masked Dad Workshop EVA Foam?

Yes you can! We find it easier for the EVA Foam to hold its shape with least resistance when doing so. Also heating the Eva Foam will help close up the cells inside making priming and painting a lot easier.

Can I heat up my Masked Dad Workshop Foam Clay?

We do not recommend doing so because it may cause the foam clay to dry out, crack and sometimes bubble.

My Masked Dad Workshop Foam Clay is too sticky. What should I do???

We take the piece of foam clay that is sometimes too sticky for us to control and blow some cold air on it or let it air dry for a few minutes till its at the consistency we prefer.

Can I add water to Masked Dad Foam Clay?

We keep a little bowl of water next to us while working with the clay. Adding some water to your finger tips will help with getting a smooth application. Water will help the clay adhere to our EVA Foam as well.

What glue should I use for my Masked Dad Workshop EVA Foam and or Masked Dad Workshop Foam Clay?

Contact Cement, Hot Glue, High Strength or Heavy Duty Spray Adhesives, and Cyanoacrylate glues are our go to choices pending on the project.

Does my Masked Dad Workshop Foam Clay shrink after it dries?

There is a possibility that the foam clay may shrink about 10% when it is fully dry. To avoid this problem we like to add just a little bit more and sand off any excess if necessary.
